Forced to follow on, an unbeaten century by Pasindu Sooriyabandara and an unbeaten 40 by Ganith Sandeepa helped Royal College offer St. Peter’s a target to chase in their Under-19 match at Reid Avenue, Colombo on Thursday.
Royal were forced to follow on when they were dismissed for 134 runs in the first innings and Sooriyabandara’s unbeaten century helped them declare at 280 for five wickets offering the Petes a target of 165 runs to win.
Chasing the target, Petes were 149 for seven wickets at close.
