When the Church celebrates the feast of Saints Peter and Paul on 29th June, that’s College Day at St. Peter’s. And today was no different when St. Peter’s had a grand celebration with recitation of the Rosary, Holy Mass and a holiday mood assembly.

Fr. Lakmin Silva, Director of the Gampaha branch was the chief celebrant who gave a very meaningful homily where he preached about the qualities possessed by St. Peter, humility, simplicity, quick to respond, easily provoked but later courageous in revealing Christ and inviting Peterites to emulate their Patron Saint, particularly in revealing Christ to others through their example.

After Mass was assembly wich was followed by a treat for the boys and early closure of school.

Happy feast to all at St. Peter’s.
