It was on the 18th of January 1922 (a Wednesday to be precise) that Fr. Maurice Le Goc, Rector of St. Joseph’s College, with a band of boys from there came by train to open the school by the canal.
St. Peter’s has come a long way since then and now stands shoulder to shoulder with other great institutes of learning and has even surpassed in stature, some older institutes.
